Henry Turner is a despicable and ruthless trial lawyer whose life is turned upside down when he is shot in the head during a robbery. He survives the injury with significant brain damage and must re-learn how to speak, walk, and function normally. He has also lost most of the memory of his personal life, and must adjust to life with the family that he does not remember. To the surprise of his wife and daughter, Henry becomes a loving and affectionate man.

The man becomes a local barehands boxer, and rides in glory until he is beaten, then his employers steal all the couple's money and they must fight off starvation in the winter, and try to keep their dream of owning land alive. Meanwhile, the woman's parents find out where she has gone and have come to America to find her and take her back.

Rose speaks from rueful experience; she suspects, with good reason, that her husband, Cosmo, is cheating on her.) Loretta is convinced that marrying Johnny is the safe and sure thing to do - until she meets his estranged younger brother Ronny, who tends the ovens in a neighborhood bakery. Loretta discovers that in startling contrast to the pleasant, mild-mannered Johnny, Ronny is moody and passionate; what follow are complications worthy of a comic opera.

On their way to a tournament, they meet Geoffrey Chaucer, a poor writer who joins the group. The quartet then keep traveling through England, fighting in tournaments.

Return to Me is a romantic movie rated PG. Return to Me was directed by Bonnie Hunt and starred David Duchovny as Bob and Minnie Driver as Grace. It was filmed in Chicago in 1999, and released in April 2000.



Storyline
The story begins with scenes at the zoo where Elizabeth works, and of Elizabeth's husband Bob in his work as an architect. After a fund-raiser for the zoo, Elizabeth is killed in a tragic car accident. Sometime later Bob meets Grace, who coincidentally was in the same hospital in which Elizabeth died. Grace was waiting for a heart transplant. Bob's wife donates her heart and it is given to Grace. Having been given a second chance at life, Grace is forever grateful and begins to enjoy life again. She writes anonymously to Bob thanking him for the organ and the new life, at this point she does not know him personally yet. Bob is heartbroken from his loss and goes into a state of depression until one night he shows up at a restaurant on a blind date set up by his best friend Charlie.There he immediately falls in love with the waitress, Grace. The two start to spend time together and are blissfully in love until Grace uncovers her handwritten thank-you note in Bob's house and realizes what has happened. She is horrified that she has his dead wife's heart, and tries to apologize. When Grace tells Bob, he is torn and must make a decision to live in the past with his wife or move on and begin to love Grace as well. A romantic happily-ever-after ending follows as they meet in Rome, and their struggle for love is over.

The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who dissaprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Allie, then, with her love for Noah still alive, stops by Noah's 200-year-old home that he restored for her, "to see if he's okay". It is evident that they still have feelings for each other, and Allie has to choose between her fiancé and her first love.

Cu ajutorul lui Eloise si al fostului sau socru, Burke intelege ca nu a reusit inca sa depaseasca socul mortii sotiei, dar ca destinul ii ofera o noua sansa la fericire.
